The 15.6″ 1366×768 display is True-Life, which means glossy. RAM amount choices are 6 and 8 Gigabytes, while for data storage customers can have up to 1 Terabyte of capacity. The laptop is currently offered with both 2nd “Sandy Bridge” and 3rd “Ivy Bridge” Generation Intel Core processors, namely the dual-core i3-2370M, dual-core i5-3210M, and i7-3612QM with four cores. We have noticed that the keyboard appears to be identical to the one used on the previous model. But, it does look nice, at least on the Dell’s product pages. However, the Dell Inspiron 15R 5520 is still only a budget notebook made of plastics and without a dedicated video card option. The notebook has a rounded appearance and it somewhat resembles the design of the premium-class XPS laptops. What’s also new is presence of USB 3.0 technology.
